The drinkable Berrie is made in Finland from whole berries: shells and seeds that are rich in polyphenols, minerals, vitamins, seed oils and fibers.
The anthocyanin content of a berry can be seen in the intensity of its colour. The inside of blueberries is pale, whereas wild bilberries are dark blue superberries. Wild bilberries are three times richer in anthocyanins than blueberries. Sweet raspberries complement the aroma of wild bilberries in Berrie. The raspberry is not only a tasty berry with a lovely color, it is also very healthy. According to lore, the raspberry was once used as a medicine for fever, among other things, and it was believed to be helpful for upset stomach. Current knowledge supports this belief, since the raspberry has been found to contain a lot of fibre. Everyone knows that the stomach needs fibre, but the raspberry’s high fibre content may come as a surprise to many. The fibre content is up to 3.7 grams per 100 grams of raspberries, which is quite substantial
